David Street Station hosts free ice skate day this Sunday

David Street Station will be open to all skaters for no charge this coming Sunday, Jan. 6. 

The event includes access to the ice as well as skate rentals.

According to a release, the free skate day is sponsored by the Robert L Belcher Family Foundation with credit to Anne MacKinnon for “inspiration.” 

Limits to one hour will be imposed in order to allow as many skaters as possible, according to the release. All children under age 10 must be supervised by an adult, and a helmet is required for children under 12.

The rink will be open on Sunday from noon to 9:00 p.m.
