Two people are dead after being hit broadside in an intersection on Highway 220 at milepost 44 near Rawlins on Tuesday morning.
According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Nessa Price and Christian Price, of Florida, were at a stop sign in their Ford Taurus at the intersection at US-287 and US-789.
As they turned into the intersection, a Lincoln MKX SUV traveling west on Highway 220 hit the Taurus on the passenger side.
A Peterbuilt was in left turn lane waiting for southbound traffic to pass when the crash occurred and was struck by the Taurus.
According to the report, the driver of the Taurus failed to yield to the right of way from stop sign to traffic on Highway 220.
Seat belts were not in use by all parties, according to the report.
This post has been modified to clarify seat belt usage from the original Highway Patrol report.
