In a written statement sent to media Thursday afternoon, Cheyenne PD officials say that the investigation is in regards to reports that the company had defrauded its customers.

“The business was operating at a storefront in Frontier Mall from August of 2018 through December of 2018,” The Cheyenne Police statement said. “Top Travel has also conducted business under the name of ‘The Outdoor Pursuit.’”

Police go on to say that several customers of the business have reported that they paid for trips through the company only to find that their trips had been cancelled without their knowledge and without having their money returned.

The Cheyenne PD is encouraging anyone who has recently done business with Top Travel to check on their travel reservations directly by contacting the hotels and airlines they are booked at and ensuring that their reservations are still in place.
Anyone with information about Top Travel or this case is asked to contact the Cheyenne PD at 307-637-6525.

This case remains under investigation by the Cheyenne Police Department.
