A Casper man was arrested during the afternoon hours of September, after police say that the man was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
According to an arrest affidavit in the case, 18-year-old William Presfield was booked into the Natrona County Detention Center on a Probation and Parole hold, as well as a recommended charge of Controlled Substance Possession- Methamphetamine. Presfield was booked in just after 3:00 pm on September 17th.
Officers say they were responding to the area of the Parkway Plaza in Casper, for a report of individuals riding bicycles through the hotel.
Police contacted two males, and advised them that they were being trespassed from the Parkway Plaza property.
The men denied riding their bicycles through the hotel, but advised they had brought a bicycle into the front of the hotel.
Officers say that they recognized Presfield as having a possible arrest hold issued through Wyoming Probation and Parole.
Officers confirmed the hold with Probation and Parole and recontacted Presfield a short distance away, and the suspect was taken into custody.
A search of Presfield’s belongings yielded a used syringe and spoon, both with suspected methamphetamine residue.
Police say that Presfield admitted to ownership of the items, and confirmed they were used to consume methamphetamine.
Officers arrested Presfield and booked him into jail without further reported incident.
Presfield made headlines four months ago, after being arrested in the Town of Mills, for a recommended charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
